A Very Tearful Reunion

The day finally arrived when my Princess would be back at work and I would be able to phone her. Despite this shocking news of her marriage, which for the past nearly two weeks had kept me upset, not sleeping or eating properly, I was still very excited to know that in just over 12 hours time I would be able to phone her, and hopefully my girl would talk to me, in fact I was hoping that all this tragic news would turn out to be just a joke, but sadly this would not be the case.

I also was getting ready to understand that if Noni wanted this marriage then I would have no choice but to accept this, has I totally believe both in personal freedom, and choice, and if my Princess wanted this marriage then while the pain for me would still be great, I would respect this choice for her........................

Its now 8pm New Zealand time, I dialed the numbers, waited, then the same lady answered the phone, I asked to speak with Nooraini Ali, and in just a few rings the phone was answered,

I am so so sorry, I was so worried you would not call me, Ian I love you,

We both started to cry, we were both very very emotional.

Noni started to explain that her parents when she told them about me ( us ) would not accept me at all, her mother seems to be the main one behind this, telling Noni that she ( Noni ) would not be able to Quote, Please Me, Unquote, really it was a whole lot of things, but really a whole lot of BULLSHIT, but has I found out, no way would her parents accept me, I was the wrong colour, the wrong culture, the wrong race !! and this was the reason why I could not marry their daughter.

So has Noni carried on her story, the family had stepped in and taken Noni away to an arranged marriage................................

Now I wanted to hear that my girl was happy, but instead Noni was far from Happy, she had been raped, and mentally abused, and really this is were my story really starts from.
