THE LAST FAREWELL
Has the last few remaining weeks approached, both Noni and I were not sad at all, maybe just a little upset at the idea of being away from each other for a while, but nothing that we could not over come....
In fact I was very excited for my Princess, because she had not seen her family for three years, and I knew how excited she was to seeing them again, including her sister Noor Hayati, who I understand was also heading back home to Malaysia but just a little later than Noni.
Now also I understood that my lady had to work for 12 months has a lecturer has this was part of her student grant. Noni had done so well with her studies that she ( her family ) did not have to pay back all or most of her student grant, but had to work or complete this 12 month work contract.
Any-way, during these last few weeks, Noni and I worked out that I would come over around Christmas time, Noni had been filling me on how to greet her parents, and her family, and how to respect her culture / way of life.
For me, all I wanted to do was to show her parents that I truly do love their daughter, and to marry and take great care of her for the rest of my life.
HOW WRONG WE BOTH WERE.........
OVER THE NEXT YEAR I WILL PUT DOWN WHAT WE UNDERSTAND WENT ON ONCE MY PRINCESS ARRIVED HOME, THIS WILL BE BASED ON LETTERS, E-MAILS, and PHONE CALLS FROM NONI, BUT WHILE WE DO HAVE NOW A NUMBER OF ANSWERS THERE ARE STILL QUESTIONS THAT REMAIN UNANSWERED, AND HAS YOU ALL KNOW 2 + 2 DOSE NOT ALWAYS EQUAL 4
Last Pic of Noni with my Grandparents ( Both since died ) just before she left New Zealand.
